Lime3DS Brings 3DS Emulation to the Google Play Store.

Nintendo has been brutal in its takedowns of popular Retro Handheld YouTuber Retro Game Corps and Switch Emulation. We also lost Citra when Nintendo tackled Yuzu. As a result, the 3DS emulation scene has been lacking. Relying on outdated Citra forks is acceptable, but it is really missing official software that will be updated with new features.

Lime3DS Officially on the Play Store

Don't stress over deciding which 3DS model to buy or the crazy costs on eBay. We may now enjoy playing our legally owned Nintendo ROMs as 3DS emulation is alive! Here to save the day is Lime3DS.

Lime3DS is an open-source emulator that is a fork of Citra. It even promises to add new features to the 3DS emulation market. It is now formally available on the Google Play Store. It is comforting to have an official emulator on the Play Store that will enable us to utilize Android smartphones, which are becoming increasingly powerful.

I've tested it briefly in my Anbernic RG Cube, and the few games I've tried have worked flawlessly. Playing some high-end 3DS games on that gadget looks fantastic. It's wonderful to discover more potential in a technology previously considered overkill. (Fortunately, a XX version will be available shortly!)
