Max 3: PowKiddy's Next Big Device – 16:9 and RK3566

Max 3: PowKiddy's Next Big Device – 16:9 and RK3566
With PowKiddy putting another competitor in the ring, we are seeing an increasing number of horizontal handhelds. The PowKiddy RGB10 Max 3, which recently went up for pre-order, costs $90.
It may appear to rival the Pocket AIR or Odin 2, but it quickly becomes clear that's not the case. The chip that powers the Max 3 is the Rockchip RK3566, which PowKiddy has trucks full of. The RG ARC-D/S, RGB30, and numerous other Anbernic devices all use the same chip.
This indicates that the RGB10 Max 3 can handle some N64, Dreamcast, and PSP titles, emulating up to the Nintendo DS. However, the performance gradually deteriorates, so don't expect to use this on more recent consoles. The good news is that PowKiddy has two microSD card slots. You use TF1 for the software and TF2 for all of your games.

The recent Anbernic RG556 leaks are one of the things that makes this release so intriguing. The RG556 is more ergonomic than the RGB10 Max 3 despite both being horizontal handhelds. Anbernic and PowKiddy are attempting to release new portable devices to rival Retroid's Pocket 4 and Pocket 4 Pro.
Colours
There are presently only two colour options available: yellow and transparent blue. However, PowKiddy has plans for a few additional colours, as shown on the pre-order page. The only drawback is that these are not currently available for pre-order. However, PowKiddy claims that "other colours will be launched one after another" if you wait longer.
