Safety features include charging protection mechanisms such as short circuit protection, over-current protection, overcharge protection, and overvoltage protection.

It also offers a Do Not Disturb (DND) mode, which can be activated by pressing the button until the LED flashes. In DND mode, the LED will turn off after a few minutes and turn on when the charge status changes.

It's important to note that charging this device is similar to Logitech Powerplay. It will set the mouse when the mouse battery is below 85%. Charging the battery to total capacity can damage the mouse's battery life. Charging 85% to 90% is considered normal, and this design helps reduce battery wear and optimize the battery's cycle life. Logitech's Powerplay follows a similar charging strategy.

The Pitta Studio Mouse Powerplay features independent RGB lighting with 16.8 million color combinations. While charging, the bottom light is red, indicating its charging or "breathing" status. The light effects can be switched by clicking the button to toggle between LED color-changing mode, static mode, and OFF mode.
